The sixth LESAM attracted 222 delegates representing a total of 23 countries, with 43 oral and 52 poster presentations, 1 keynote speech, 2 panel discussions and 3 plenary sessions taking place over the course of the three days.
The Conference brought together utilities, consultants, regulators, researchers and asset managers from all over the world for a compelling discussion on the main innovations, trends and challenges in Strategic Asset Management (SAM) of water and wastewater services. LESAM 2015 was jointly organised by IWA, City of Yokohama, Japan Water Works Association and Japan Sewage Works Association, was held in Yokohama, on 17-19 November 2015.
